Since 1913, Crown Candy Kitchen has been serving Route 66 travelers and local St. Louis residents sweet treats. The business was founded by Greek immigrants Harry Karandzieff and Pete Jugaloff who possessed unique confectionary skills. Throughout the decades as the business continued to grow more sweet and savory treats were added to the menu and now Crown Candy Kitchen is known as the oldest soda fountain in St. Louis. Today, Crown Candy Kitchen is operated by the 3rd and 4th generations of the Karandzieff family.
